Abstract accepted at Petroleum Geostatistics 2019

We’re happy to announce that a second paper on “Stochastic Partial Differential Equations” got accepted at the 4th EAGE Conference on Petroleum Geostatistics in Florence, Italy. We’d like to thank the Estimages’ authors Mike Pereira and Cédric Magneron. But also, Nicolas Desassis (Mines ParisTech) and Nathan Palmer (Central Petroleum) for their help with this article.

In this Petroleum Geostatistics abstract, we present two applications of SPDE through two geostatistical noise attenuation case studies. First of all, one on a simulated dataset and then one on a real data set, a 2D seismic line.
To read more about the advantages of using SPDE in Geostatistics, please refer to our previous LinkedIn posts on the topic or to our website. Or even better, come and attend the talk! We look forward to it!
