Considered as the capital city of the O&G Industry, Houston is the place to be for service providers. Even in those difficult times of low oil price, Houston and the Gulf Of Mexico remain hot spots where the latest innovations are being tested on strategic issues. ESTIMAGES wishes to take part in this innovation trend by offering new geostatistical applications and by developing or strengthening collaborations with complementary activities such as software companies.
With this new office, ESTIMAGES' goal is to respond to American clients' needs for geostatistical QC/filtering of seismic data, velocity modeling and related uncertainties. Indeed, when mastered, geostatistical techniques allow to reduce risks associated with the exploration and production phases, facilitating seismic interpretation and reducing depth uncertainties for well planning. Based on a successful presence in Norway and Australia, Houston will serve as a launch pad for the spread of ESTIMAGES expertise in the Americas.
To drive this expansion, Lara SATGE , Business Development Geoscientist left our Paris office end of 2016 and started the activity from our Sugar Land based office beginning of January. She will be listening to technical challenges faced by the Oil&Gas Professionals .
