After a successful collaboration on two projects in the Barents Sea basin, Estimages and ExploCrowd join forces again for the APA2018 applications in the North Sea. The focus area for this project is the South of the Viking Graben, between the Johan Sverdrup and Sleipner fields. This area is known to have good reservoir potential in Jurassic sands and many wells were drilled in the past few years. However, the geology there is highly complex and a good Velocity Model for accurate time-to-depth conversion is necessary. Estimages is providing such a Velocity Model as a part of ExploCrowd’s ready-to-use APA2018 package.
